X-motd
A program intended to full screen display the current motd or any other plain text file during a graphical X11 login session. Initially designed to be used by the Solaris CDE desktop, it can be easily integrated into virtually any X11 session. It can be either started as a foreground process (blocking the session until terminated by the user) or be put in the background (the X11 session startup can continue). In both cases the whole screen will be occupied by this program showing the file contents until the user presses 'q' <ESC> or clicks on 'Quit' with the mouse.
